Encounters at the End of the World
Watched this documentary on Antarctica last night.
This is another film done by Werner Herzog. I have always enjoyed his unique filming and narrative style. This film in particular brings out his personality and doesn’t dissapoint. Werner approaches some secular questions about the origins and ends of life in a humoruous way, but you are left with heaviness – in that we are all lost (like the insane penguin), even more so the greatest minds among us, apart from God granting us the sight to see.
